I worked a few years in childcare while I was still in high school. Then while working on my Bachelor’s degree at WTAMU, I was a paraprofessional in an elementary program centered around including students on the autism spectrum. I began my teaching career as a Kindergarten teacher for four years in Dalhart, Texas. When my family moved to Canyon, I definitely applied for a position. For the past three years, I have been the Early Childhood-Special Education (ECSE) teacher at Lakeview Elementary. I am certified in EC-6 as well as special education.
Outside of school, I am a mom, a camp advisory board member, and an avid Cricut user!
